JAMES 1:12 “Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him.”
1 CORINTHIANS 9:24-27 “Do you not know that those who run in a race, indeed all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way to obtain it, and everyone who competes controls himself in every way. Now they do it (olympians) to receive a corruptible crown, but we do it for an incorruptible crown. Therefore I run accordingly, not with uncertainty. So I fight, not as one who beats the air. But I treat my body severely and make it MY SLAVE.”
1 TIMOTHY 2:3-5 “Suffer hardship with us as a good soldier of Yahusha Messiah. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in the affairs of this life, in order to please Him who enlisted him as a soldier. And If anyone competes in a game, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules".
SUMMARY : What are these rules the candidate must know to enter the race for the crown of life? The entry pass is given according to how the recipient receives the New Covenant of Yahusha. They must go through the process of repentance, immersion, receiving a new heart and spirit and have the incorruptible seed planted in them (this is Yahusha’s Spirit).
IN THIS RACE THE SEED MUST BE WATERED AND FERTILISED BY THE WATER OF YAHUSHA’S WORD WHICH GIVES NEW LIFE TO THE PLANTED SEED. THE PLANTED SEED GROWS IN THE POWER OF YAHUSHA’S WORD AND MANIFESTS HIS FRUITS OF BEHAVIOUR INTO OUR SPIRIT.
The whole New Covenant speaks of our behaviour of Yahusha's Words on this earth. YAHUSHA’S MINDSET IS TO IMPLANT HIS BEHAVIOUR WITHIN OUR BEING! Even though we’ve been cleansed by His blood, and washed clean, we still have the “SELF” that we have formed in our life within us. And as you know, the self resides in the flesh and the mind (will). The flesh is against the spirit that is planted within us, and the spirit is against the flesh. These two are enemies. In actual fact YAHUSHA HATES WHAT WE HAVE FORMED WITHIN THE MIND AND FLESH OF HIS CREATION! . . . We actually belong to Him !
Our battle or race is with demon forces trying to preserve the "SELF".
And in turn controlling our behaviour.
THE RACE IS ALL ABOUT BEHAVIOUR!!
The key issue to Yahusha’s behaviour is summed up in one verse..
“LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF”.
This verse summarises the Ten Commandments, which are written on our hearts. This is SO much instruction on how to behave in one little verse.. the same as ... “LOVE YOUR ENEMIES”.
The whole Scripture is teaching us the meaning of His love. He wants us to throw ourselves on the Altar as a living sacrifice, and He says.. “This is our reasonable service.” In other words, IT IS UNREASONABLE NOT TO DO IT, AND THIS CAN DISQUALIFY THE APPLICANT FROM THE RACE !
Cancelling the old behaviour of self and replacing it with the Fruits of Spiritual Behaviour, MATURES THE APPLICANT onto the perfection of overcoming demon forces who deceive. Cancelling their prompts of behaviour of Yahusha’s Word is actually overcoming Satan, as instruction in the Revelation says..."He who overcomes will receive the crown of righteousness.”
When you overcome, you have Yahusha’s power to defeat Satan and his hoard. Obviously, by this stage you are operating in the Supernatural power of His guiding, doing exploits that bring favour from Yahusha and your Crown of Life. This is the direction that should be being taught to every applicant, so they have a fighting chance of understanding of what Yahusha expects of every applicant that approaches Him. YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE and know His mind on every incident that surrounds you!
THEREFORE EVERY INCIDENT THAT SURROUNDS YOU IS WHERE YOU START THE RACE!!
Dealing with every thought by checking with Yahusha’s Word and doing it, brings you to the place of understanding YOUR RACE! Yahusha will test and trial you to see if you are willing to go His way to trust and believe. If you do this you will become a candidate. That’s why Yahusha says “many are called, but few are chosen!“ He wants us completely sold over to His way. He said "I am the way, the truth and the life”. He wants a genuine Bride who will be completely sold over to His love, that will love Him as He loves her.
TEACHERS TODAY MUST BE CARPET-BAGGERS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SHOWING THOSE WHO WANT TO ENTER-IN HOW ESSENTIAL IT IS FOR THOSE TO RUN THE RACE FOR THE CROWN OF LIFE !!
JAMES 1:2-3 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your belief produces endurance”.
2 CORINTHIANS 1:8-10 “For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life; indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in Yahusha who raises the dead; who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us”.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:7-10 “And Yahusha has said to me, “My favour is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Messiah may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Yahusha's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong”.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and Yahuah is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it”.
1 PETER 4:12-16 “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Messiah, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His esteem you may rejoice with exaltation. If you are hated for the name of Yahusha, you are blessed, because the Spirit of esteem and of Yahusha rests on you".
1 PETER 1:6 “In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials”.
Of course this message is only for THE WISE PART OF THE BRIDE, since the foolish are not interested at all in pursuing this part of our walk. The foolish say… “Oh yes I'm running my face, I’ve been through the trials and testings” … but they do not show the behaviour which manifests from such an experience, rendering themselves foolish. Scriptures above collectively point to how Yahusha cleanses His Bride.
The foolish ones obviously have no idea of what is clean or unclean. They are against this experience and ask …"why would our Alahim want us to go through such a dreadful experience when we are already in Covenant?” Their attitude is against the words of Yahusha and they make a big effort to discourage those willing to enter this process.
To answer the question of these foolish ones ... obviously, when in Covenant we are pointed the way to a narrow path. Obviously, we don’t stop at Covenant, we need to get on the path to RUN THE RACE FOR THE CROWN OF LIFE! This Crown (as it was for Yahusha) is full of sharp barberry thorns. Yahusha died on the stake and told us to follow Him. Where do we follow Him? To the death of ourself … this is called DELIVERANCE from the power of Satan!
As we have grown up from children, the corruptible seed planted in us (from birth) has started growing. We have taken into our being and our heart all sorts of worldliness which is called our personality, or self. Yahusha wants us to offer our worldliness on the Altar. Remember He says this is our ‘reasonable service’. If we are not willing to do it, we are completely unreasonable!
Yahusha says He is going to test and trial our belief, and I’m not sorry to say these trials are complete agony! Just as a death (as in death) the trial passed brings complete relief and joy overwhelmingly. Scripture says… “don’t be surprised at the painful tests you are suffering but instead be overjoyed that you are being persecuted for His sake”. These trials given from Yahusha are a blessing and also a death to the self, which brings us into being able to experience His overwhelmingly splendid love that is a CONSTANT!
Bringing this altogether, we see (in the mirror) that the self we have formed (during our life) is complete sin. Yahusha gives us tests and trials to see if we will put all worldliness off and take on His mindset completely. After passing this test, we have more trials of constant persecutions from foolish vessels, (the other part of the bride) and from the world. This persecution will never stop, therefore we need a compensation and that is to … COUNT IT ALL JOY!
THE AGONY OF YOUR TRIAL WILL FEEL LIKE THIS.....
