In Judaism and in some Christian denominations, only human beings have immortal souls (although immortality is disputed within Judaism and the concept of immortality may have been influenced by Plato).[3] For example, the Catholic theologian Thomas Aquinas attributed "soul" (anima) to all organisms but argued that only human souls are immortal.[4] Other religions (most notably Hinduism and Jainism) hold that all living things from the smallest bacterium to the largest of mammals are the souls themselves (Atman, jiva) and have their physical representative (the body) in the world. The actual self is the soul, while the body is only a mechanism to experience the karma of that life. Thus if we see a tiger then there is a self-conscious identity residing in it (the soul), and a physical representative (the whole body of the tiger, which is observable) in the world. Some teach that even non-biological entities (such as rivers and mountains) possess souls. This belief is called animism.[5]
Thus we see that men have reordered their own opinions and included them into their translations of scripture, which have no real foundation from the Paleo words of Yahuah. Even in Strongs Concordance men have added "the soul" in place of Ruach, being, or life, which are the correct words. Just look at the interference here in the Strong's.
HEBREW UNDERSTANDING:

TURAH UNDERSTANDING: THE BYNV SCRIPTURES NEVER MENTION "SOUL" IN THEIR INTERPRETATION, IT IS ALWAYS BEING, SELF, RUACH, OR SPIRIT. WE KNOW THAT SOUL COMES FROM THE BELIEFS OF INDIA, SPIRIT SOUL AND BODY. THIS DOCTRINE OF MEN HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE CHRISTIAN BELIEF SYSTEM, IT SHOULD BE BODY, BEING, LIFE, OR RUACH. JUST THE 2.
1 Cor 15:45. And so it has been written, "The first man Adam became a living being," the last Adam a life - giving Ruach.
Heb 6:19. Which we have an ankor of the life, both safe and firm, and entering into that within the veil.
Matt 22:37. And Yahusha said to him, "You shall love Yahuah your Alahim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.
1 Peter 1:22. Now you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Ruach to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fevently with a clean heart.
Heb 10:39. But we are not those who draw back to destruction, but of belief to the preservation of life.
Mark 8:36. For what shall it profit a man if he gains all the world, and looses his own life.
There is no mention of a "SOUL" in the Paleo words from Yahuah, in fact I Cor 15:39 says, All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of birds. If you read on you will see that the rest of creation is made of a very different component than that of man, and explains how man can become Ruach like.
Brothers and Sisters the word "SOUL" is another confusion from Satan by his twisting of scripture, to put us off the path. I believe these statements and feel that there is no argument worth having in the negative. To me, "SOUL" is a horrible and ugly word full of confusion and doubt forcing us to accept animism. I REFUSE.
