SORT

SORT, n. *L. sors, lot, chance, state, way, sort. This word is form the root of L. sortior; the radical sense of which is to start or shoot, to throw or to fall, to come suddenly. Hence sore is lot, chance, that which comes or falls. This sense of sort is probably derivative, signifying that which is thrown out, separated or selected.*

1. A kind or species; any number or collection of individual persons or thing characterized by the same or like qualities; as a sort of men; a sort of horses; a sort of trees; a sort of poems or writings. Sort is not a technical word, and therefore is used with less precision or more latitude than genus or species in the sciences.

There are many uses for the word "SORT" in scripture, animals on the arc, the tribes of Yisharal, foods, worship, etc. I was sitting outside the salon and the word "SORT" came to me and I said what on earth is this ?

DO NOT BE BORNE ABOUT BY ALL SORTS OF VARIOUS AND STRANGE TEACHINGS. FOR IT IS GOOD FOR THE HEART TO BE ESTABLISHED BY FAVOUR, NOT WITH FOODS AND RITUAL MEALS WHICH HAVE NOT PROFITED THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN OCCUPIED BY THEM.

VERSE 15

THROUGH HIM THEN, LET US CONTINUALLY OFFER UP A SLAUGHTER OFFERING OF PRAISE TO YAHUAH, THAT IS THE FRUIT OF OUR LIPS, GIVING THANKS TO HIS NAME, YAHUSHA.

Yahusha wants us to "SORT" out all our strange teachings, for He never changes, He never wanted the animal sacrifices, but the people did. Yahusha utilised their desire to bring them away from their idolatrous mindset and into Turah. But we are the ones that have to make our lives obedient to Turah, through the prompting of the Ruach ha 'Qodesh, Yahusha's ultimate aim is to receive our praise and love through the fruit of our lips, but we are the ones who have to "SORT IT OUT," through obedience.
