Yesterday morning I watched a video by Mark Davidson from Behaviour Revolution, on His version of this Feast and it literally blew me away. It also prepared me for the right way to enter the feast.
Mark said everything that we do at the feasts are shadows and traditions. Mark said if we gather and we are more into the trumpets, the food, who made the food, dress in traditional garb, do the shoutings to disturb our neighbours, have meetings and prayer, then we are missing the whole meaning of preparing ourselves for the second coming. Mark told us we should gather together "CLOTHED IN SINCERITY & TRUTH".
THIS SWEET SIMPLE STATEMENT TOLD ME "YES" WHAT IS THE USE OF FOCUSING ON DOING OLD TRADITIONAL STUFF & MISSING THE ESSENCE OF HOW YAHUSHA WANTS US TO APPROACH HIM AT HIS GATES? THERE IS A GLOBAL ARGUMENT ON WHETHER WE SHOULD BE USING A RAMS HORN OR BLOWING A SILVER TRUMPET. DO YOU THINK THIS DISTRACTS FROM THE MAIN ISSUE OF BEING CLOTHED IN SINCERITY & TRUTH ?
Mark also said that the Feast of Trumpets has nothing to do with the outward stuff of traditions, and that Yahusha was more concerned with the behaviour of our hearts when we gather.
Yobel is meant to be a rams horn, Turah says a silver horn. This is the argument !
Result of search for "trumpets": 3104 yowbel yo-bale' or yobel {yob-ale'}; apparently from 2986; the blast of a horn (from its continuous sound); specifically, the signal of the silver trumpets; hence, the instrument itself and the festival thus introduced:--jubile, ram's horn, trumpet.
8643 truw`ah ter-oo-aw' from 7321; clamor, i.e. acclamation of joy or a battle-cry; especially clangor of trumpets, as an alarum:--alarm, blow(- ing) (of, the) (trumpets), joy, jubile, loud noise, rejoicing, shout(-ing), (high, joyful) sound(-ing).
HAVE A LOOK HOW WE ARE TO BE SINCERE IN OUR DAILY BEHAVIOUR. WOULDN'T IT BE WONDERFUL IF WE WOULD CONTROL THAT THING WE ARE IN AND BEHAVED SINCERITY INSTEAD OF WHAT WE ARE LETTING COME FROM OUR FLESH. ISN'T THIS A BETTER MEANING TO THE FEAST, THE WAY MARK EXPRESSES TO US THAT YAHUSHA WANTS US IN SINCERITY & TRUTH, NOT WITH TRADITIONS AND OFFERINGS OF THE SHADOWS OF THINGS?
sincerity /sɪnˈsɛrəti/ Learn to pronounce noun the absence of pretence, deceit, or hypocrisy. "the sincerity of his beliefs is unquestionable" Similar: honesty genuineness truthfulness good faith lack of deceit
There are thousands of silver trumpets and horns you can buy to do your traditions.
