You would have to be pretty stupid not to see the sadness and madness of the road this world is travelling. If you have not read the Besorah of Yahusha you have no chance of understanding the purpose of life.
Those in Yahusha's Army understand they must completely "GIVE OVER" to Yahusha's promptings. Remember Yahusha has Risen, is still alive, and comes to live in us at our immersion, and we can hear His voice through His Spirit in us.
What does GIVE OVER really mean? 2015 haphak haw-fak' a primitive root; to turn about or over; by implication, to change, overturn, return, pervert:--X become, change, come, be converted, give, make (a bed), overthrow (-turn), perverse, retire, tumble, turn (again, aside, back, to the contrary, every way).
Of course this can only happen if we read the Turah Instructions and live them. Religion and traditions have nothing to do with living according to Turah instruction. Satan bases most of his idolatry and worship on sex, drugs and Rock & Roll - everything the world teaches is against the Turah.
Yahusha's teaching is based on love and kindness.
When you live Turah your joy is an amazing experience to share in.
GIVING OVER TO TURAH-TEACHING IS THE WAY TO SEE THE TRUTH. MOST PEOPLE CAN'T SEE THE TRUTH, LET ALONE HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO TASTE IT'S FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH, NEW LIFE.
