What is it to be Oblivious?
"WHAT IS IT TO BE OBLIVIOUS ?"
IN THE HEBREW LANGUAGE, OBLIVIOUS IT IS "TO FORGET."
THE ENGLISH DICTIONARY SAYS :
OBLIVIOUS : adjective "not aware of or concerned about what is happening around one". "she became absorbed, oblivious to the passage of time" synonyms: unaware, unconscious, heedless, unmindful, insensible, unheeding, ignorant, blind, deaf, unsuspecting, unobservant, disregardful, unconcerned, impervious, unaffected, insensitive, indifferent, detached, removed; rare incognizant "they were clearly oblivious to the danger."
MATT 24:37-39:
"AND AS THE YOMIM OF NOAK, SO ALSO SHALL THE COMING OF THE SON OF ADAM BE. FOR AS THEY WERE IN THE DAYS BEFORE THE FLOOD, EATING AND DRINKING, MARRYING AND GIVING IN MARRIAGE, UNTIL THE DAY THAT NOAK ENTERED INTO THE ARK, AND THEY DID NOT KNOW UNTIL THE FLOOD CAME AND TOOK THEM ALL AWAY, SO ALSO SHALL THE COMING OF THE SON OF ADAM BE".
Man has forgotten the warning of Turah in these last days. Man is impervious and has forgotten the love of Yahusha. How terribly sad this is! Many we have loved, we see given over to worldliness. They have become unconscious, unmindful and are unobservable and disregardful of the behaviour of Yahusha. The saddest thing we feel is their detachment. They are unaffected, insensitive, indifferent and so unheeding and unaware like they are removed.
This is definitely the condition or state of mind Matt 24 talks about before the Son of Adam returns. How very sad it is to see those we have loved turning this way.
